Our company signed the “WEPs - Women’s Empowerment Principles” contract on 13.03.2020.

The Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) platform is one of the most important global initiatives of the private sector, which aims to empower women in order to enable women to take part in economic life in all sectors and at all levels.

The WEPs platform, which was established in 2010 in partnership with the United Nations Global Compact (UN Global Compact) and the United Nations Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment Unit (UN Women), offers the private sector; presents key points to consider in order to achieve gender equality in workplaces, markets, and society at large.

The Women’s Empowerment Principles require business leaders to make a clear commitment to the 7 principles for establishing company policies that will advance gender equality.

Leaders who signed the CEO Support Statement show their intention to incorporate and apply the Women’s Empowerment Principles from the boardroom to the workplace and across the supply chain to the community.
